i'm glad you're here
I know the maddening discomfort that comes from living inside skin that crawls, itches and burns, and the fear that takes hold when unpredictable symptoms and allergic reactions escalate out of control. I’ve also felt the sadness at cancelling plans and the uneasiness when a date gets put in the diary and you simply don’t know if it’s actually possible. I’ve sat in front of doctors who dismiss concerns and practitioners who flippantly reduced my diet to a fun free zone and know what it’s like for the magic of meal times and life plans to disappear. I also know first-hand the impact all this can have on a couple, and the ripple effect within a family.
Whatever the diagnosis you or a loved one have been given and however bad health, inflammation and the situation may feel, I’m here to tell you there is hope, you are not in a static position where your current state of being need remain.
Whether prompted by a crisis or simply your curiosity to uncover what is causing symptoms to persist, even if you may have learned to live with your symptoms, let’s work together so you can live without them.
My mission is to find the answers you're looking for and need, and to help you in building your unique toolkit that aids health now and aligns you with where you want to be.
I want to remove any feelings of helplessness and to offer comprehensive support, advice and strategic guidance, so you feel empowered and clued up on how to create sustainable behavioural and lifestyle changes, that result in remarkable transformations.
This fundamental pillar is where we address the deep root cause of your condition. Through diet, herbs, nutrients & a host of other remedies, the key focus is to address the underlying issues that could be driving your ill health or holding back your healing. You are unique & thus your specific combination of factors will likely be so too.
My aim during our time together is for you to reclaim autonomy over your body and control over your wellbeing.
Because chronic illness itself, and certainly visible skin issues, can be traumatic and tiring. And emotional health is a vital part of the puzzle to getting well. Attention is given to acknowledging and addressing this often-overlooked part, with tools explored to aid rest, resilience and more.
Everything you experience impacts you. The people you meet, the activities you do, the choices you make& the troubles life inevitably throws at you. With this in mind, consideration&nurture is given to building a skillset that supports lifestyle choices&reactions, with mindset practices to benefit your home, work, and time.
Our largest organ deserves focus. When skin is sensitive it is easily triggered, when it is irritated it must be soothed, and when it is broken it's important to aid repair and prevent infection. Time is given to remedies that topically work with the skin at each stage of the seasonal, personal and healing cycle.
Everything we curate in our personal world carries weight in our wellbeing. From natural living, reducing artificial chemicals and addressing potential contributing factors such as moulds, VOC's, dust, pollens and more, thought and advice is given to external factors that take a toll on health.
Recipes for easy and enjoyable infusions for any time of day.
Turning a favoured pastime into a valuable source of healing for gut health, stress relief and soothed skin.

A fan of people, plants, leisurely feasts, spontaneous dancing, nostalgic tunes and a good brew, you’ll find me at my most content when enjoying these things. Sometimes all of them, sometimes all at once.
Eternally curious and driven by connection, I’m passionate about the power of nature, the power within us, nourishing food, kinder skin potions and safe household products. The desire for the non-toxic to be the norm drives me daily.
More than thirty years of experience has taught me that our bodies hold the power to heal when given the right tools, and true wellbeing is so much more than just the absence of disease.
Simple steps and enjoyable rituals can bring life-changing results. Everyone is capable of creating a life that works for them and achieves optimum wellness, curating a mindful way of living that is sustainable, aligned and in balance.
My journey and understanding of the power of food, nutrition and natural-based living began as a result of being born with severe atopic allergies and eczema. Blessed with an intuitive and forward-thinking mother, as a young child I was admitted as an in-patient in the late 1980’s to a specialised allergy centre, working with doctors who were pioneering new approaches and treatment in the field of allergic disease. Thorough allergy testing, nutritional and orthomolecular therapy, chemical-free living and low dose immunotherapy designed to retrain the immune system, brought complete resolution of symptoms. The knowledge acquired was applied daily, as a family, to ensure condition management to the point of perceived cure.
chapter 1
Years later I revisited this learned wisdom when needing to address my health once again. In my early twenties as university ended, extreme allergic symptoms returned, leaving me swiftly housebound and unable to function day to day. Similar steps were taken, this time with broader functional testing and a greater focus on the microbiome. The power of meditation and movement for stress reduction was harnessed after studying yoga, tai’chi and kalarippayattu as part of my degree. I went from being bed-bound, restricted in movement and covered in extreme rashes in July to being symptom free and travelling the world by December.
chapter 2
In 2014, the glow of love, blind ignorance, feelings of invincibility and a lifelong dream to renovate a home with our bare hands, led me and my man to embark on a project that would later be my undoing. Ill-prepared and ill-equipped to deal with the onslaught of relentless dust, moulds, chemicals, VOC’s and the pollution of living on a main road, coupled with the unprecedented stress of running a business, led to the insidious return of old symptoms. Beginning with a creeping cocktail of rashes, constant wheezing, increased allergic reactions to foods and worsening inflammation, once again life ground to an almost standstill. All this culminated 18 months later in the diagnosis of a UV and sun allergy. Shell-shocked and confused, as I’d always been a sun worshipper, I left Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospital with some photocopied leaflets on how to cover my windows and car with UV protective film, advice on wearing Factor 50 daily and a hefty prescription of steroids. Anaphylaxis and chronic hives were to follow.
chapter 3
And so, I enrolled to study biomedicine and Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London for 3 years. Broadening, a year in, to train in other healing modalities including herbal medicine, massage, aromatherapy and meditation. I knew that functional medicine and integrative holistic therapies had saved me twice before, and I had to hope and believe they could do so again. Smothering myself in topical steroids to suppress symptoms was a new concept for me, and one I could find no long-term solace in. The rapid escalation of side effects also brought unease. I needed action, I wanted to feel well, I knew the answers and solutions were somewhere in the medical literature, and I longed to sit and feel at one with the sun and my body again.
chapter 4
It took time, persistence and patience, but ultimately it worked. I now live and work near Bristol, drawing on my own training and first-hand experience to offer individuals and families functional testing, nutrition and naturopathic therapies, sage advice and emotional support. I take great delight and satisfaction in helping people create lifestyles and environments that optimise their health, manage and heal their immune dysfunction and ultimately find hope and freedom from previously life blighting symptoms.
